01/18/13 - Juventud Rebelde (Habana) - Sismo perceptible en Santiago de Cuba

Siendo las 5:13 p.m. de ayer 18 de enero, la Red de Estaciones del
Servicio Sismológico Nacional cubano registró un sismo localizado en las
coordenadas 19.83º Latitud Norte y los 75.62º Longitud Oeste, a 30 Km al
Sudeste de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, a una profundidad de 35.9 Km y
una magnitud de 3.1 grados en la escala Richter.

Se han recibido reportes de perceptibilidad en Baconao, La Gran Piedra,
Río Carpintero, El Caney y Centro Urbano Abel Santamaría, todos en la
provincia de Santiago de Cuba.

Hasta el momento no existen reportes de daños materiales ni humanos.
