La línea aérea de Chile PAL Airlines abrió este domingo vuelos hacia
Varadero mediante la conexión de un avión A-320, de 388 asientos, al
aeropuerto internacional Juan Gualberto Gómez.
Con una frecuencia semanal, la citada compañía, que entró en operaciones a
mediados de 2009, efectuará un total de cinco viajes cada domingo para
finalizar el 24 de febrero.
Este domingo llegaron a la terminal aérea, segunda en importancia en Cuba,
un total de 250 turistas movidos por los turoperadores Caribbean Chile,
Havanatur y Solways, según datos del Ministerio de Turismo.
«Chile ha incrementado su emisión de clientes con un crecimiento del 18
por ciento, y apuesta por el destino Cuba y Varadero», dijo Lázaro
O´Reilly, director de Havanatur en Matanzas.
