perceptible del año
Santiago de Cuba, 3 mar (PL) El cuarto sismo perceptible del presente año
se registró hoy en esta ciudad, con una magnitud de 3,5 de la escala de
Richter, informaron especialistas del Centro Nacional de Investigaciones
Sismológicas (Cenais).
El movimiento telúrico fue apreciado en esta urbe y en los municipios de
Palma Soriano, San Luis y Songo-La Maya, de acuerdo con los primeros
reportes del organismo.
La sacudida ocurrió a las 9:07, hora local, a 16 kilómetros al sureste de
la playa de Siboney y a 29 kilómetros de profundidad, en los puntos 19,94
de latitud norte y 75,69 de longitud oeste.
El temblor se sumó en esta mañana de domingo a las inusuales bajas
temperaturas en la ciudad, donde el calor deviene azote agobiante para sus
pobladores, al punto de confundirse el tercer mes con los de mediados de
año, al centro del verano.
