09/09/13 - Prensa Latina (Havana) - Cuba: 150 Conferences in Sugar By-Products International Congress
Havana, Sep 9 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Research Institute of Sugarcane
By-Pruduct (ICIDCA), will hold in October its 12 International
Diversification Congress, which will include 150 technical conferences,
according to its organizers.
According to the general director of the center, Luis O. Galvez, the
congress will be attended by some 300 delegates from 15 countries,
including Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Germany, United Kingdom,
Uruguay, Denmark and Suriname.
The program of this conference, to be held from October 14 to 18 at the
Hotel Nacional, also includes two workshops, one of bioproducts and other
of renewable energy, two round tables on sugarcane agriculture and 14
