11/05/09 - Granma (Habana) - Se forma la tormenta tropical Ida

Cuando muchas personas daban por terminada la temporada ciclónica del 2009,
ayer se formó la tormenta tropical Ida en las aguas del suroeste del mar
Caribe, a unos 120 kilómetros al este de Bluefields, costa atlántica de
Nicaragua.
Al atardecer este organismo ciclónico tenía vientos máximos sostenidos de 95
kilómetros por hora, con una presión mínima central de 996 hectopascal. Se
desplazaba lentamente en un rumbo próximo al oestenoroeste.
Dada su posición y probable trayectoria, el Centro de Pronósticos del
Instituto de Meteorología observará durante los próximos días la futura
evolución de Ida.
